Day 1

WELCOME TO VIETNAM .

Just about everything is taken care of once you hit the Tarmac at Vietnams Ho Chi Minh airport where you will be met by Benwah and hop into a private transfer to your hotel in downtown Saigon. Spend the afternoon marveling at the chaos of this big city and visit the War Museum, the crazy Ben Tahn Markets, ride in a historic Cyclo or just relax with a cold one! After dinner that night head out to benwahs favorite bar ( you'll see why when you get there! ) the 17th Saloon which offers the best live 70 & 80s rock music and party the nite away... along with awesome bar staff

Day 2

Early morning visit to local markets close by our hotel  before we jump on a 45 min flight up the coast to  beautiful Nha Trang where you will be met at the airport by our lovely VMT Promo Girls who will have a private transfer ready and an esky full of cold beers and a SUPERTOUR t shirt ready for you. Our 35min drive up the winding coastal road thats carved into the mountain soon unveils Nha Trang with her stunning coastline and incedible views of the South China Sea and Dotted lslands. Nha Trang is famous for its natural beauty of palm lined beaches, crystal clear water & fine year round weather .

Our  selected Hotel is just meters from the stunning shorline and fine beaches ,  Close to all the action of great bars and restaurants , in the afternoon we jump on a speed boat for a ride out to a Floating Village where we will have BBQ lunch on the water, "right on TOP of the water! ". Great swimming location Then we are off to the amazing Vin Pearl lsland which is like a mini Disneyland with a cracker of a Water Park and other rides. Back to Nha trang where you might need a rest or a soothing massage, just ask Benwah where the best places are ! Dinner and then some lively nightlife in Nha Trang..

 (  boat ride is subject to weather conditions being suitable )  We have a plan B should this occur .  Nha Trang is the gateway to the Central Highlands home to the best motorcycle touring in Asia .

TIME TO RIDE !

Day 3 Coastal Nha Trang loop

10am

For the early morning risers the beach offers the perfect time to stroll along the beach and take a dip !! this is also popular with the locals who can be seen enjoying their daily exercises .

After a quick riders briefing you can familiarize yourself with the motorcycle and the Vietnamese style of negotiating the traffic with a leisurely cruise along the winding coastline and through some local seaside villages  arriving  at a stretch of sand called Long Beach. Lined with beach huts built on the sandy shores . Here we stop for some swimming and surfing if your keen, before a cracker of a fresh seafood BBQ lunch Vietnam style!

The return ride is just as incredible with views across the ocean .. " Vietnams great ocean road" . Then it's back to Nha Trang for cold beers and more of the same!

OPTION 2  Keen riders can take the option of an earlier start in the day 7.30am  with a steep winding  hill climb to the top of Mt Bon Ha 1500mts  .  these old back roads pass local farms and small villages with banana plantations and some epic  mountain scenery. its a nice insight into rural life. before riding across to Long Beach . This option means an extra 3 hours in the saddle for day 1.

 

Day 4 Nha Trang to Dalat 160km

9am

Don't let the milage fool you this is a fairly full day of riding , with plenty of stops to checkout the local sites .  Ok saddle-up  and let's get this adventure into full swing as you leave the coast we make a few rickety bridge crossings (hope you can swim!-just kidding) and passing farmers tending to their rice crops . we venture into  the Central Highlands, OFFERING THE BEST RIDING  in Vietnam..it will be hard to keep your eyes on the road with so much to look at ( please try! )with sweeping views across the jungle covered mountain ranges.

The road is a motorcycle paradise winding its way up through the steep mountain passes  into the clouds and cooler climate of the Highlands . lush triple canopy  green jungle and roadside waterfalls .

The beautiful city of Dalat is a famous retreat for the rich with its Old French Colonial Villas and incidentally, one of the first stops on the BBC Top Gear Tour. Our selected hotel has been carefully  built to look old but offering all the mod-cons  CHECKOUT their  private collection of old cars and motorcycles .  Dalat's night markets are well worth a look  . Try some local street foods . Vietnam is world famous for its fresh and very tasty foods .

Day 5 Dalat to Lak Lake 160km

9am

A spectacular day in the saddle as we descend the winding country roads, passing thru authentic rural villages where father time has waved his hand oh so gently over the minority tribes of the Mnong and Ede peoples, the caretakers of this beautiful land and our destination, the shimmering waters of Lak Lake. Here we will relax with a few cold beers and a sumptuous meal in the regions best resort. Traditional music and dancing will round out another great day. Our over night stay  in bungalows are simple & basic  but offer private bathrooms and great views of the lake ..

Day 6 Lak Lake to Buon Me Thout 110 km

8.30am

After breakfast it's a short ride to the eastern shores of the lake home to about 20 Elephants  where you can indulge in a 1hr  Elephant Ride ( option ) around and IN the lake itself! A good way for you and the local pachyderms to cool off. From here we head north to an amazing waterfall which cascades from a height of 20 meters high, sometimes for 100 meters across! Another chance to cool off before we enter Buon Me Thout. Home to over 44 different ethnic groups, this region is said to grow the best coffee in Vietnam.

 

Day 7 Buon Me Thout to Kontom 230 km

8am

One of the longer stretches today and it just keeps getting better, more Awesome Roads, Lush Jungle, Farming Life,  Remote Villages , altitude changes , Minority Villages , you'll appreciate a cold beer and a comfortable bed after today's long haul which we will be happy to provide you with!...   riding is at a relaxed pace take in the amazing views .. we pick up the pace in the many twists and turns .

Please Note : The roads thought-out the tour are often shared by children walking to and from school.  grazing  Buffalo, pigs , dogs and crazy chickens share the road too ... so keep an eye out for an unexpected wonderer.  mainly of theses small cities and town have early morning and night markets which is good way to stretch the legs and see the REAL VIETNAM .

 

Day 8 Kontom to Kam Duc 180 km

8am

This is the proper Ho Chi Minh trail in all it's twisting and undulating glory ! Steeped in history, crucial to the war effort, vital to the life blood of Vietnam, it virtually speaks to you as you negotiate each turn. This is where the bulk of the riding footage from that famous Top Gear special took place so soak it up and enjoy what will be one of the best days of your life! ...  these roads are mainly  empty and in excellent condition

 Motorcyclist playground .  your be totally amazing of just how stunning this country is .  NO TOURIST HERE!!!   ... Locals  can be see swimming and fishing in the wild rivers . road huts that have stood the test of time . life here is simple and real .. everyone seems to have chickens , pigs and goats . children can be see riding buffalos bareback ... "the simple life of in the jungle"  . this areas  live and breathe ADVENTURE around every corner there is something new ... common feedback  from  many of our riders they view these tours as a real game changer .. this country  will change the way you outlook on life in many different directions

Day 9 Kam Duc to Hoi An 160 km

8am

Time to farewell the cooler climes of the highlands and point the compass toward the eastern shores of the famous coastal resort town of  Historic Hoi An. winding down the mountain roads another great ride

Hoi An offers excellent markets and Tailor Shops . get and new suit or some shirts custom-made  .   the multitude of restaurants and bars and the warm ocean swells which await you in Hoi An .

A wonder through the Historic streets of Hoi An is unique and filled with surprises of old World Charm Old School Silver Smiths and Shops lined with tressures .

 

Day 10 Hoi an to Danang 90km

10am

A late start today after such an epic week and time enough to pick up the new suit you ordered from Hoi an's famous and super cheap tailors, have a relaxing breakfast beside the pool and then gear up to ride along the coast road to Danang . On the way we will stop at the famous China Beach for a swim before tackling the steep hill climb of Monkey Mountain. Into Danang at benwahs favorite hotel for some quick rest and relaxation before dinner and then the infamous Super Tour Awards Ceremony, some tall stories from Benwah and many beers and many laughs.

 

Day 11

We will arrange a private transfer to Danang airport for a flight to your choice of HCMC or Hanoi or just hang around , it's up to you!!
